Although this package is suitable for casual internet users, its low upload speed of 1Mbps may cause a slowdown when you're using online backup services or cloud storage. This means that this package also may not be appropriate for those who like to play online video games.
Superfast Fibre
If you're still looking for a cheap broadband package but wish to have faster speeds than offered with Shell Energy's copper (ADSL) broadband package above, Superfast Fibre could be exactly what you're looking for.
This package makes use of fibre-to-the-cabinet (FTTC) technology and provides you with average download speeds of 35Mbps, which is three times faster than the copper Fast Broadband service. Superfast Fibre Plus

Again, availability is limited, but because it's using Openreach's FTTP network, it's expanding very quickly.
