The Ultimate G.Network Broadband Deals Guide

G.Network, founded in 2016, is one of London's full fibre broadband providers. The company uses fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) technology to install state-of-the-art full fibre connections directly to homes and businesses throughout the UK's biggest city.

Many of London's residents still rely on Openreach's ageing copper cables that deliver limited speeds. G.Network aims to create a London that is better-connected, allowing people to work and learn from home, play online video games, and stream videos without experiencing any buffering or slow down. G.Network has already installed its fibre-to-the-premises technology in nearly 400,000 London homes, and it aims to increase this number up to 1.3 million in the near future (including privately owned, privately rented, housing association, council-owned and commercial properties).

G.Network's broadband services are competitively priced, meaning that customers can benefit from ultrafast fibre connection at similar, or even lower, costs than some of the more popular broadband providers in the UK.

Types of G.Network Broadband Packages

G.Network offers its customers with four ultrafast broadband plans that range from download speeds of 150Mbps to lightning fast speeds of 900Mbps. All four of the broadband plans come with a free Nokia Wi-Fi router.

Each broadband package has the option of a one-year or two-year contract, with the two-year contract being £2 cheaper per month than the one-year contract on all four packages.

Unlike many other internet service providers (ISPs), G.Network also offers their plans on a monthly rolling basis. This is a great option for those who are only living somewhere for a short amount of time, or for those who simply dislike the idea of being tied down to long contracts.

Here are the download and upload speeds for the four broadband packages that G.Network provide:

150Mbps

With average download speeds of 150Mbps, G.Network's entry level broadband plan already provides its customers with ultrafast speeds. This package is suitable for those who don't live in a very large household but use multiple devices simultaneously in order to work from home, play online video games and stream 4K quality content.

300Mbps

This package is for larger households that use the internet very frequently on multiple different devices all at once. With speeds this fast, your gaming experience will be incredibly smooth, no matter how many other people are using your internet. As this package has upload speeds of 100Mbps, you'll also be able to make video calls over services like FaceTime, Zoom and Skype without experiencing any buffering.

600Mbps

The 600Mbps package is more than enough to satisfy all your needs regardless of how many people live in your home or how many devices are being used simultaneously. This broadband package is great for households that potentially have more than one serious gamer living there, it's also the perfect package for people that like to stream on services like Twitch or upload videos onto YouTube.

900Mbps

If you live in a very large household that is extremely internet hungry, you may have to opt for the 900Mbps package. This package will allow you to carry out some of the most demanding tasks whilst online without facing any slowdown or buffering. With download and upload speeds that are identical, this package is great for gamers that desire the smoothest experience when playing online video games. With G.Network's 900Mbps package, you'll get speeds that are six times faster than their entry level 150Mbps package.

Why Pick G.Network?

Full Fibre Technology

Due to the use of FTTP technology, G.Network's broadband packages will rarely experience any lag. Copper cables aren't used at all to deliver connection to your home and you also won't be sharing any connection lines with your neighbours.

Symmetrical Download and Upload Speeds

G.Network's fastest package comes with identical average download and upload speeds of 900Mbps. Speeds that are this fast are great for large households that use multiple devices all at the same time. Whether people are streaming in 4K quality, playing online video games, downloading large files, or FaceTiming multiple people there'll rarely ever experience any slowdown or buffering.

No Landline Required

G.Network doesn't require you to have a landline in order to use their services, as they use fibre optic cables to deliver broadband to your household. This is great for those who wish to save money on their broadband package.

No Installation Fees

Many of the most popular providers in the UK charge one-off setup fees. Fortunately, G.Network is one of the internet service providers that doesn't charge its customers to install their broadband.

What is fibre-to-the-premises technology?

Fibre-to-the-premises technology (FTTP), also referred to as full-fibre broadband, gives you a dedicated connection that runs all the way to your property, instead of stopping at a street cabinet. This means that with the most expensive package, you'll be able to get both download and upload speeds of 900Mbps.

Does G.Network offer call packages?

Unfortunately, G.Network doesn't offer its customers any call packages. This is because a landline isn't used to deliver your internet connection.

If you'd like to bundle your broadband package with a home phone, you'll have to take a look at the other broadband providers that are available to your address. Use our tool at the top of this page to see all of the other ISPs that can offer you call packages.

Does G.Network have good customer service?

As G.Network is a newer broadband provider and it isn't very large, its customer service may not be able to provide you with as much assistance as many of the main ISPs can. If you require technical support with your broadband, there isn't a way to get direct help but you'll be able to get in contact with G.Network via email. Their email address is accessible to you at 8am - 6pm, but only weekdays.

Is G.Network available in my area?

G.Network is only available in London. Therefore, if you live outside of London you won't be able to get any broadband plans with G.Network.

If you do live in London, G.Network is rolling out its services throughout the city. If you'd like to know more about whether G.Network's services are available to your home, simply enter your address into our tool at the top of this page.
